A lot of integrators use cable management "bars" and other contraptions at the rear of the rack to manage the wires. I've had no problems with it. Just a few minor annoyances but nothing worth losing any sleep over. You are correct, you get the 6ghz band that can be used for more speed or a duplex connection. So your device could send and receive at once, like Ethernet. Not as good of course, but a lot better than otherwise. You only need a 2.5gig+ switch to take advantage of WiFi 6e speeds, you will get the benefits of the 6ghz band regardless. Why do people need this? If you don't want a local network controller, Unifi will host one for you. You simply create a new site, connect your APs, switches, etc to your existing network and use the cloud based controller to manage. TPLink Omada has a similar option available.New Ubiquiti Setup. Even then, it was 10 or 15 bucks off $100 switch or AP (it was Microcenter-- not sure if Ubiquiti had sales as well). That said, MC often marks up a bit, and you get a 1 year warranty instead of 2 from Ubiquiti (as is the case with all authorized resellers).The UDM-Pro was shut down and the UDR took it's place for six weeks. The UDR internet speed was max 650 Mbps on a 1 Gbps connection, on WiFi I could reach 600 Mbps - when using the UDM-Pro and the same AP's I got WiFi 700 Mbps. Cloud Gateways are routers that run software. At a minimum they run the UniFi Network application. They manage themselves and other UniFi switches and APs. They can't be managed by a Cloud Key or self-hosted controller*. These have been called "UniFi OS Consoles" or "Gateway Consoles" and other terms, but Cloud Gateway™ is the current branding..
